E-Training Help Center
Answers to the problems that come up most when signing in to training.
Most sign-in problems are fixed in a minute or two.
Common sign-in problems
Your access password arrives by email or text when Veroot assigns training to your organization. If you do not have it, your Security Coordinator or Supervisor can look it up and resend it to you.
Where do I get my access password?
When training is assigned to you, Veroot sends your access password to you
directly - usually by email, and in some organizations by
text message. It is listed alongside your name and ID numbers, so
check both your inbox (including junk or spam) and your text messages for a
message about Veroot training.
If you cannot find it, or it has expired, ask your Security Coordinator or
your Supervisor to send it again. Veroot assigns an access password to your
organization for each training, and your Security Coordinator or Supervisor can look
yours up and resend it right away - and confirm at the same time which training
is assigned to you. You may also hear it called an access code; it is the same thing.
My access password isn’t working
Type it exactly as it appears in the email or text, with no leading or trailing spaces - copying and pasting sometimes picks up an invisible space at the end. Each access password is assigned to a specific training, so one from an older message may not apply to the training you are trying to take. If the newest one you have is still rejected, ask your Security Coordinator or Supervisor to request a new one.
It says my name or number isn’t recognized
Your name and credential number have to match your employee record exactly as it appears in Veroot. Try your full legal first name rather than a shortened version, check for a missing or extra digit, and enter the number without spaces or dashes. If it still fails, your record may hold a different number than the one you are using - your Security Coordinator or Supervisor can check what is on file for you.
Which credential should I choose?
Whichever one you actually have. Pick its type from the TSA Credential Type dropdown - STA, TWIC, FAST, SIDA, CDL Hazmat, KTN, or a custom employee number your organization assigned - then enter that number in the box beside it. You only need one, not all of them.
The link in my email didn’t fill anything in
The link in a training reminder fills in your name and selects the credential you have on file, to save you typing. It stops doing that once the training is completed, after 30 days, or if a newer reminder has been sent - the most recent message always has the working link. The page still works either way; you can fill it in by hand. Your access password is never pre-filled, by design.
My training isn’t listed after I sign in
You will only see trainings currently assigned to you. If the one you expect is missing, it may not be assigned yet, it may already be completed, or it may require a sponsorship your organization has not arranged. Your Security Coordinator or Supervisor manages all three.
I was signed out partway through
Sessions end after a period of inactivity, and moving between slides happens in your browser without contacting the server - so a long stretch on one slide can time you out. Sign back in and start the training again. Submitted tests are already recorded and are not lost.
My certificate won’t open or download
Certificates open in a new tab as a PDF, so a pop-up blocker or a missing PDF viewer will stop them. Allow pop-ups for this site and try the Download button. If it still fails, that is a portal problem rather than a records problem - email us at the address below, and your completion stays on file either way.
